October Weddings at Hazlewood Castle
October is a beautiful month, right? Maybe also a little strange this year with these 18 degree days we’ve been having! But most of all, it’s beautiful. Yes, the evenings get darker and the temperature drops, but this encourages a gentle feeling of settling down and beginning again. Settling down next to a log-burner that is being lit for the first time this year, digging out your favourite warm jumper, swapping the flip flops for wellies - it symbolises the first of many things. This is why we love October weddings so much.

Let’s imagine it together; getting ready with your wedding parties in the Castle, photos as you come down the grand staircase, Champagne in the Flemish Hall, and a short walk (or horse and carriage, bus, bike…anything you like) down to the woods. You move down the leaf filled path, fairy lights surrounding you, peace. The pagoda is dressed in stunning vines, drenched in flowers, your partner waiting for you under the oak trees. The ceremony comes to a close and you move into our whimsical Tipi kitted out with fire pits, blankets and boho-chic decor - your own bubble of joy.
It’s a step away from the classic wedding, and a step towards something that’s more you, in the perfect month, in the perfect location.
