YOUR ROLE:

As Head Chef you will have full autonomy over all menu’s which include….

Our restaurant’s casual dining offering, including Breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner

· Castle weddings and events up to 120 attendees

· Our Woodland events area up to 150 attendees

· Marquee events up to 400 attendees

· Outside catering and events

In close contact with our front of house team, you will be able to plan, prepare and deliver events to an excellent standard, with organization and composure. Including, identifying equipment requirements, staffing and food ordering.

You will have good knowledge of food Gross Profits and how to achieve company targets, alongside an interest in current food trends.

You must be able to recruit, manage and organise your kitchen brigade effectively to ensure smooth delivery of the company’s food offerings, at the same time maintaining a set department wage percentage.

You will be able to liaise with suppliers to gain best price and product options…including food, equipment and disposables.

You will have the ability to foresee any potential problems that may arise in the day-to-day delivery of our operation and provide solutions for such.

You must have a good working knowledge of nutrition, allergens and H&S regulations and standards.

You must be able to maintain a positive and professional approach with customers and co-workers alike.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience at a Head/Executive chef level, their own transport due to our location, an approachable, professional and positive personality and overall, a ‘can do’ attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
